Children’s Miracle Network: Working together to save lives

Each year CMN hospitals provide approximately $3 billion in charity care to those in need of assistance. With the escalation of health care costs, these kids need your help.

“A child's health needs are distinctly different from an adult,” said Theresa Slater, CHRISTUS Cabrini’s CMN director. “Every year, with the funds raised, Cabrini provide invaluable healthcare services to the children of our community.  We are especially  happy to be celebrating our twenty-sixth year of association with the Children's Miracle Network!"

CHRISTUS Cabrini Hospital is one of five hospitals in Louisiana privileged to be a “Children’s Miracle Network Hospital”. As a CMN hospital, CHRISTUS Cabrini goes far beyond treatment, by offering prevention and advocacy programs that address the unique needs of children.  "The Children's Miracle Network plays an important role in our ministry to the children in central Louisiana," said Stephen Wright, President and CEO of CHRISTUS Cabrini Hospital.  "We are dedicated to caring for our community's most precious gift: our children."

“CHRISTUS Cabrini Hospital works with the community to provide services that meet children’s health, education, safety, and security needs,” says Theresa Slater. “  This year will be not exception.  The funds raised during this years' celebration, will benefit our pediatric services at CHRISTUS Cabrini Women's and Children's Hospital." 

“It is important to remember,” Slater said. “that all monies raised by CMN stay in central Louisiana for our kids. “
