The CHRISTUS Cabrini Foundation offers individuals, corporations, and or­ganizations many opportunities to give—the Children’s Miracle Network, Jour­ney to Excellence Initiative (a campaign to raise capital funds for the hospital), Cabrini Winter Ball (a premier social event in Alexandria), Cabrini Legacy Society (benefactors who contribute memorials or remember the hospital in their wills)—to name a few. Each year, the Cabrini Foundation organizes the Cabrini Winter Ball and hosts the local Children's Miracle Network Telethon. Proceeds from these events have enabled Cabrini Hospital to expand programs and services as well as provide community grants to children's organizations relating to education and healthcare. In addition, the Foundation organizes the in-house effort supporting the Manna House Christmas Cheer Program, that provides over 200 hot lunches to the 200 homeless and needy of our community.
