About UsThe CHRISTUS Cabrini Foundation was established in 1983 by a dedicated group of leaders to raise and manage philanthropic funds to support the health care provided by CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Hospital. The Foundation is a freestanding, tax-exempt organization. Its independent governing board assures that the donors’ wishes are followed, recognition is given, and funds are well-managed.
The CHRISTUS Cabrini Foundation offers individuals, corporations, and organizations many opportunities to give—the Children’s Miracle Network, Journey to Excellence Initiative (a campaign to raise capital funds for the hospital), Cabrini Winter Ball (a premier social event in Alexandria), Cabrini Legacy Society (benefactors who contribute memorials or remember the hospital in their wills)—to name a few. To receive information on these and other ways of sustaining our mission “to extend the healing ministry of Jesus Christ,” please contact the CHRISTUS Cabrini Foundation Office at (318) 448- 6580. Each year, the Cabrini Foundation organizes the Cabrini Winter Ball and hosts the local Children's Miracle Network Telethon. Proceeds from these events have enabled Cabrini Hospital to expand programs and services as well as provide community grants to children's organizations relating to education and healthcare. In addition, the Foundation organizes the in-house effort supporting the Manna House Christmas Cheer Program, that provides over 200 hot lunches to the 200 homeless and needy of our community. CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Hospital is committed to patient satisfaction and well-being. Your thoughtful generosity will allow that tradition to continue for generations to come.
